Jack Culcay, Ecuadorian-German and the North American Demetrius Andrade weighed 153.8 and 153.9 respectively. Thus, they are ready showdown Saturday, March 11th in Germany.

“Golden Jack”, who dedicates this fight to the memory of Gilberto Mendoza, emeritus president of the WBA, brings a  22-1 11KO’S record, was WBA 154 lbs Interim champion after defeating Maurice Weber in 2015, defended it twice and then was promoted to regular champion by the WBA Championships committee.

On his part, Demetrius “Boo Boo” Andrade, stands at 22-1 11KO’S, and has been the World Boxing Organization super welterweight champion.

Culcay vs Andrade have already fought as amateur where Andrade won. They are both more experienced boxers will meet again.

Officials

The officials appointed for the fight are Puerto Rican Luis Pabon, as referee, while South Africa Stanley Christodoulou, Italian Giuseppe Quartarone and Puerto Rica Nelson Vazquez will be in charge of the scorecards. Julio Thyme will be supervising the actions
