Undefeated Joe Cordina won the World Boxing Association (WBA) Continental belt at Super Featherweight by defeating Miko Khatchatryan by unanimous decision (100-90, 98-92, and 98-92) during their fight this Saturday in Liverpool.

The Briton captured the regional title and defeated another undefeated boxer like the Belgian in a tough fight to pass a good test and keep climbing to a world title shot. 

Coordina closes a year of great growth in which he made three fights and won all of them. He is now preparing for a 2022 of great opportunities, with the expectation of making himself known around the world.

It was the 14th win for the 30-year-old fighter, who has knocked out 8 of his rivals. On the other side, Khatchatryan now has a record of 13 wins, 1 loss, and 7 KOs.
