Castaño: a fighter true to his style

One of the great moments of 2021 in the boxing world was featured by Jermell Charlo and Brian Castaño, who made a great fight on July 17, in San Antonio, Texas, which was a candidate for the fight of the year.

The fight ended in a draw and the American kept his World Boxing Association (WBA), WBC and IBF belts, while Castaño kept his WBO belt.

Castaño put on a great performance but it was not enough to win against Charlo, however, he will have the opportunity to face the American again in a fight that is expected to take place between February and March.

For months, the Argentinean has been working with his sights set on this fight and in early January he began the final part of the preparation in Los Angeles, California. At 32 years of age, he seems to be in the best moment of his career and wants to surprise Charlo in this occasion.

The second fight between these two fighters is one of the most anticipated by the fans because the previous one was so good, and a victory for either fighter will leave another undisputed champion in boxing today.
