Casa Durán Panamá: The restaurant inspired by "Manos de Piedra"

Roberto Durán visited this week the new restaurant “Casa Durán Panamá”, a very particular venture located in the Historic Old Town of Panama City which is inspired by the career of “Hands of Stone” Durán.

Durán went to the place and spent time with the owners as well as with some special guests. The concept of the restaurant is that diners will experience something different in a pure boxing environment where they can learn more about the great fighter from this Central American country.

The Panamanian is an icon of Latin American boxing and especially of his native country, where he is probably the most important athlete of all time. The walls of the venue display several impressive paintings about Durán’s career and the World Boxing Association (WBA) belt, as well as belts and other objects related to the legend’s career.

For the WBA it is gratifying that the achievements of boxing stars are recognized throughout the world and that they are given the importance they deserve.
