Joshua Buatsi and Daniel Dos Santos appeared before the press two days before their WBA International Light Heavyweight title fight in Manchester, England.

The Englishman, owner of the belt, will fight French challenger Dos Santos and both gave their impressions about what they expect from the fight and their motivation to come out victorious this weekend.

Buatsi talked about how he has been improving in his professional career, as well as the new things he intends to show in this opportunity. The former Olympic medalist has done a great job with his trainer Virgil Hunter and believes that will be one of the keys to win.

“Having Virgil on board is awesome. This guy is an asset to the team. It’s going to be good,” Buatsi said.

For his part, Dos Santos knows he’s going into a tough challenge, possibly the first big test of his career and he wants to surprise everyone.

“I have to be the best version of myself to beat Buatsi. I’m ready,” said the Frenchman.

This Friday the weigh-in ceremony will take place and on Saturday both will feature in the Matchroom Boxing event. Buatsi has 13 wins, no losses, and 11 KOs. Dos Santos has a record of 15 wins, no losses, and 8 KOs.
