World Boxing Association (WBA) Super Light Heavyweight Champion, Russian Dmitry Bivol landed in St. Petersburg yesterday and received a hero’s welcome after his victory over Saul “Canelo” Alvarez last Saturday, May 7. 

Bivol and his trainer were reunited with family and friends in a nice reception after retaining his WBA Crown. 

The local press attended the arrival of the champion and interviewed him amidst the cheers of those present at the airport. 

Now Bivol will rest for a few days after his tough fight. This Friday he will be at a press conference with the WBA and to talk about the fight and all his projects.
