Englishman Jake Ball defeated his countryman Miles Shinkwin on Wednesday night to obtain the WBA-Intercontinental Light Heavyweight belt.

Ball dominated the fight from start to finish and was backed by a broad unanimous decision with the judges scoring 97-93 and a double 98-92. Thus, he leaves his record at 11 victories, one defeat and 8 knockouts.
