Ana Laura Esteche became the new WBA super lightweight champion after defeating unanimously Monica Acosta, who had been undefeated up to that night.

The fight took place in the Fishing Social Club Gym of San Clemente del Tuyú. The scores were: 98-92, 99-91 and 98-92 all for Esteche.

Now, Acosta, 35, now has a record of 19 wins and 5 KO’s, two draws and one lost, while Esteche (Agentinan lightweight Champion), has a record of 10 victories (2 ko’s), three losses and one draw.
