Gilberto Jesús Mendoza, president of the World Boxing Association (WBA), is in Tampa, United States, where the International Boxing Federation (IBF) Convention is currently underway.

Mendoza, who is always looking for the best relationships with all the boxing bodies, was invited by Daryl Peoples, president of the IBF. The intention is to unify criteria and find common ground on various issues of the current boxing world.

For the WBA and IBF, teamwork has always been important and they ratify their commitment in this annual convention.
