For boxing in any country to grow, many elements are needed and one of them is good infrastructure. In the case of Nicaragua, those in charge in the Central American country have it clear and an example of that is the Polideportivo Alexis Argüello, a modern venue that little by little has become the home of boxing in this country.

In honor of the greatest fighter that the nation has had in the world arena, the scenario has great facilities for various sports and boxing is one of those who benefit. In 2020, during the boxing stoppage due to the pandemic, a very important event took place, since it was one of the first in the return of boxing, and it was held in this very place.

The capacity is 7500 people and it also has two Olympic swimming pools in which continental competitions have been held. The style of its facilities is quite modern and it has become a great venue for the most important sports disciplines.

The WBA is proud that venues like this one continue to be created, which can contribute to the growth and development of boxing worldwide.
