Kali Reis will face Jessica Camara on Friday in New Hampshire in a very important fight. Both showed up to the press conference for their World Boxing Association (WBA) super lightweight title fight on Wednesday and talked about what they expect from the scuffle.

Reis is the 140-pound champion of the pioneer body and will face the Canadian in a showdown that will also put the vacant WBO crown on the line. The fight is part of a tournament that will end with an undisputed champion and the winner will clash with Chantelle Cameron, who recently defeated Mary McGee and holds the WBC and IBF titles.

“I’ve gone from being the underdog to being the best. I’m having fun and I’m enjoying the moment. I have to be on fire every moment of this fight,” said the 35-year-old WBA champion.

Of the four participants in the tournament, only Camara was not a champion before the start of the tournament. A situation she wants to reverse with a win to take two belts and go for Cameron’s two.

“I’m blessed to be involved in this tournament. I’m the 100 percent underdog and I know I have to make a statement. I’m coming for all the marbles”, the Canadian sentenced.

Both were confident and eager to step into the ring on Friday in what promises to be a great 140-pound battle.
