Daniel Dubois returned in great shape and knocked out Bogdan Dinu in the second round on Saturday to win the WBA Interim Heavyweight title. The Briton proved that he is still one of the great young talents in the division and displayed his power at the Telford International Centre in Telford, UK.

Dubois’ right hand was his key weapon, as he connected a good straight punch to the Romanian boxer that ended the fight and sealed a big win for the home fighter. His opponent collapsed and could not recover before the 10-second mark.

Dubois was coming from a tough loss to veteran Joe Joyce but managed to bounce back and win the black and gold belt, which brings him closer to bouts against the big names in the heavyweight division.

The 23-year-old boxer improved his record to 16 wins, 1 loss, and 15 KOs. For his part, Dinu now has a record of 20 wins, 3 losses, and 16 KOs.

Kabayel retained his WBA-Continental belt
