Dominic Boesel and Robin Krasniqi will meet this Saturday at the GETEC Arena, in Magdeburg, Germany, to fight for the WBA Interim Light Heavyweight title held by the former.

It will be a great duel of German fighters in which Boesel will defend his title for the first time against a thousand battles veteran like Krasniqi.

Boesel won his Interim belt on November 16th, 2019 with a victory over Sven Fornling by TKO. The 30-year-old Naumburg native is also IBO Champion and will put both belts on the line on Saturday.

Krasniqi is one of the few fighters in the division who has achieved 59 plus victories in his professional career. The 33-year-old fighter has world championship fighting experience and is a former WBA Intercontinental Champion. His record includes fights with great fighters such as Arthur Abraham and Juergen Braehmer.

Pre-fight activities will take place this week, including a press conference and the weigh-in ceremony. Boesel comes into the match with a record of 39 wins, 1 setback and 12 KOs, while Krasniqi has a record of 50 wins, 6 losses and 18 KOs.
