The WBA mourns the death of “Tornado” Sanchez.

The president, directorate members and the boxing family regrets the death of David “Tornado” Sanchez, who died on Friday morning in a car accident.

Sanchez, who was 25 at the time of his death, was the WBA 115 lbs. Interim champion.  He was a great warrior, a man who never gave up, a worthy Mexican boxing representative with 37 fights, 31 wins, 23 knocked out, 4 loss and 2 draws.

Today boxing suffers a great loss, because he was great gladiator who still had a long way ahead.

Rest in Peace
