World Boxing Assocition Middleweight champion Gennady Golovkin from Kazakhstan was awarded as the Boxer of the Month of January according to the ratings published today by the Ratings Committee.

Golovkin defended his black and gold belt for the tenth time on February 1 in Monte Carlo, where he defeated by TKO7 Osumanu Adama.

While Jarrod Fletcher and Luis Collazo WBA International champions share the mention of the month.
