Americans Shera Mae Patricio and Brittany Sims will step into the ring this Saturday at the College Park Center in Arlington, with the prestigious World Boxing Association (WBA) World Bantamweight Championship on the line in a matchup that promises to reshape the division’s pecking order.

Patricio enters the bout undefeated, bringing formidable punching power and relentless pressure to the table. The Hawaiian fighter will look to dictate the action from the center of the ring, relying on her heavy hands to put together explosive combinations to the chin while applying constant pressure to prevent her opponent from getting comfortable at long range. Her key will be cutting off the ring effectively and targeting the body with punishing shots from the opening bell.

Standing across from her will be Brittany Sims, a fighter known for her athleticism, crisp footwork, and high punch output. Sims understands the challenge ahead and is expected to rely on a strategy built around constant movement, using her left jab to disrupt Patricio’s advances and stepping laterally to make her opponent pay for missing at mid-range.

This matchup shapes up as a classic clash of styles: Patricio’s power, aggression, and punching authority against Sims’ rhythm, movement, and technical precision.
