Anahí Sánchez and Cecilia Mena were expected to fight on August 4th for the World Boxing Association (WBA) Female Lightweight Title. However, Mena presented a medical report stating that she has a urinary infection and cannot fight.

For this reason, the bout was rescheduled for September 9th, 2017, and the WBA belt will still be at stake.
