Peruvian Linda Lecca, super flyweight interim World Boxing Association champion, retained her title defeating by unanimous decision the Mexican Guadalupe Martínez, in a fight held in Peru.

In his first title defense, Lecca, whose record is 11-2, 3-KO´s managed to win 100-90 for the three judges’ cards who scored the fight. Martínez record is 7-6 record.

“I was calm and I knew what had to be done, and everything went perfect. For Linda Lecca there is a lot more and I hope that people can always come to see me fight, “said the champion, after the match to the Peruvian press.
