Argentina’s Yesica Bopp (30-1, 12KO) and Colombian Luna del Mar Torroba (11-5-2, 2KO) met at the weigh-in ceremony and both hit the scales at 107.5 pounds. In this way, they are ready to fight for the World Boxing Association’s Light Flyweight belt, which will be at stake this Saturday in Argentina.

Bopp 33, is the WBA 108 world champion since 2009, however in 2014 she was appointed champion in recess due to her pregnancy, and returned in 2016, ratifying her champion status defeating Mexican Nancy Franco by unanimous decision.

Yesica, better known as “La Tutti” has made 14 successful defenses of her title, this will be the fifteenth.

On her part, this will be the first time Torroba fights for a world title. She has fought in Argentina all career and fought four times in 2016, winning two and losing two fights.
