Mythical boxing gym The Kronk, sent congratulations to the World Boxing Association (WBA) on the celebration of its Centennial Convention this week.

Legendary representatives such as Sugar Hill Steward and Hilmer Kenty of the Detroit gym sent their best wishes to the pioneer organization during the celebration that took place from December 11-14.

Hill, who is the nephew of the legendary Emmanuel Steward, was present at the convention and was honored for his work as a trainer by President Gilberto Jesus Mendoza at one of the award ceremonies held at the Caribe Royale Hotel in Orlando, Florida.

For his part, Kenty uploaded a video through the official website of Kronk Gym in which he congratulated the WBA and highlighted his pride for having been world champion and having the most prestigious belt in boxing.

The WBA thanks all those who sent their congratulations and attended the great centennial convention, a very special occasion for the WBA and for boxing in general.
