Mexican Gilberto Ramirez is set to return to the ring on March 18 against veteran Gabriel Rosado in a light heavyweight bout with a venue to be confirmed.

The bout was announced by Golden Boy and will mark the talented fighter’s return after his loss last November to Dmitry Bivol.

Not only did he lose the World Boxing Association (WBA) light heavyweight belt bout against the Russian, but he also lost his undefeated record, which is a tough blow to any fighter’s career. However, “Zurdo” has focused on working hard and getting back in the ring.

He assured that he is very motivated to face Rosado, a veteran known for his grit and aggressive style. Ramirez assured that he has always admired his opponent and that it will be a great fight on March 18.

“Zurdo” has been working hard and already has a return date. His goal remains firm and is to become world champion, for which he will have to walk a path to a new opportunity and it all starts against Rosado.
