WBA Press. October 05.- The Argentinean Yesica Marcos and Dayana Cordero from Colombia met the weigh-in ceremony and are completely ready to dispute World Boxing Association Super Bantamweight title tonight at the sports center of San Martin, Argentina.
Both fighters made 55.300 kilograms at the scale during the weigh-in held on Friday at the Polideportivo Torito Rodríguez.
Marcos is the champion, where reigns the Aztecs Jackie Nava, who was declared champion in recess due to her pregnancy. “The Aztecs Princess” sent a letter to the WBA to make her request official.
For that reason Marcos will fight with “La Tigresa” the regular championship.
This would be the southerner sixth title fight that is undefeated in 19 fights with one draw and 7 KO’s. Her rival has a record of 9 wins and 2 losses, with 7 KO’s, and this will be her second title shot.

Prensa AMB. 05 de octubre.- La argentina Yesica Marcos y la colombiana Dayana Cordero cumplieron con la ceremonia del pesaje y están completamente listas para disputar el título del peso supergallo de la Asociación Mundial de Boxeo, la noche del sábado en el Polideportivo de San Martín, Argentina.
Ambas peleadoras marcaron 55 kilos 300 gramos en la báscula, durante el pesaje realizado este viernes en el Polideportivo Torito Rodríguez.
Marcos es la actual campeona interina de la división, donde reina la azteca Jackie Nava, quien fue anunciada como Campeona en Receso debido a su embarazo. “La Princesa Azteca” hizo oficial su solicitud a través de una carta enviada a la AMB.
Por esta razón, Marcos disputará con “La Tigresa” Cordero el cinturón regular de la categoría.
Esta sería la sexta pelea de título para la sureña, que suma además 19 victorias, sin derrotas, con 6 peleas terminadas antes del límite y un empate. Su rival, es una jovencita de nueve peleas ganadas, 7 por nocauts, con dos derrotas y será su segunda pelea por una faja mundial.
