The purse bid for the fight between Arsen Goulamirian and Aleksei Egorov was held on Monday, August 23 and the company World of Boxing won the rights to promote the fight for the World Boxing Association (WBA) Cruiserweight Super Championship.

The company representing the Russian challenger offered an amount of USD 210,000 and won the rights to the fight against the French champion.

World of Boxing gave three options of date and venue for the fight. The first for November 6, in Moscow; the second on the same date but in Paris and the third for November 20 in Monte Carlo.

Goulamiriam will be making the second defense of his belt and is undefeated in 26 fights, with 18 knockouts. While Egorov, who is Gold champion, has 11 wins, no setbacks and 7 knockouts.
