The World Boxing Association Ratings committee released on May 12 its monthly ratings containing the names of the best boxers of each division worldwide.

The Boxer of the Month recognition was granted  to the Heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua, who defeated  Ukranian Wladimir Klitschko by TKO11.  It was the best fight of the month as they brought back the best time fights of old times.

The Honorable Mention was granted to Namibian Julius Indigno, who outpointed Britt Ricky Burns to win the WBA Super lightweight Title.

From April 10 to May 7, the WBA santioned 5 title fights.
