WBA Flyweight title now vacant

The World Boxing Association (WBA) Flyweight title has become vacant after the official resignation of Japanese Kazuto Ioka, former Champion of the category.

The information was made official by the Japanese team through an email sent to the WBA Championships Committee.

The future of the division will be informed as soon as possible by the Championships Committee, following the steps indicated in the WBA Rules.
