The Championships Committee of the World Boxing Association ordered the negotiation between the heavy champion Wladimir Klitschko and Tyson Fury, who is the mandatory challenger of the division.

The negotiation period will begin this May 5, 2015, and will last 60 days to reach an agreement to secure the place and date of the fight.

In case they not to reach an agreement the fight will be opened to Purse Bid.

Klitschko (64-3, 53 KO) is also the owner of the IBF and WBO heavyweight belts.

Fury (24-0, 18 KO) is the seventh rated contender and is facing the first title opportunity.
