In June there is no fight that people talk about the most than American Andre Ward and Russian Sergey Kovalev for the World Boxing Association Light Heavyweight title. Both fighters will enter the ring for their second time fight on June 17 at the Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Their first fight took place last November 19 at the T-Mobile Arena in de Las Vegas, when Ward got the unanimous decision by 114-113. The Judges score showed how close the fight was, a war of strategy.  At first, we could see a strong Kovalev trying to knock down his opponent and did it in the second round. However, SOG Ward fought in the distance and took advantage of his moves in the ring to win each round. 

So, a second Ward vs. Kovalev fight was well accepted by the boxing fan, who will enjoy these two 175 lbs. great boxers fight for the second time.  

This time, Ward is defending his WBA, WBO and IBF titles for the first time. However, his history began as the WBA super middleweight champion from 2009 to 2013 defending his title six times.

Kovalev, became one of the best boxers thanks to his performance in 175 lbs.  Among his opponent we find the mystical Bernard Hopkins whom he defeated by unanimous decision in 2014 to win the WBO Light Heavyweight title, and the lost it against Andre Ward last year.  

They are undoubtedly the best Light Heavyweight boxers and in two weeks will clash again for the WBA Light Heavyweight Super championship.
