The Russian Denis Lebedev retains his World Boxing Association Cruiserweight title defeating the polish Pawell Kolodziej, on Saturday at the Dynamo Palace of Sports in Kryltskoye, Moscow.

Lebedev punished the Challenger from the first round, and in the second round the Panamanian referee, Guillermo Pérez Pineda, stopped the bout after a left hook connected to Kolodziej, and made him lose his unbeaten record.

The Russian is now 26-2, 20 KO while Kolodziej has 33-1, 18 KO.
