The World Boxing Association (WBA) KO Drugs that took place in Buenos Aires, Argentina, this week, had memorable moments and one of them was the knockout of Cuban Pablo Vicente over Colombian Manuel Gonzalez.

The Antillean connected a spectacular uppercut in the sixth round to knock out the South American to win the international super featherweight championship of the pioneer organization.

After avoiding Gonzalez’s attack with a backward movement, he counterattacked him with the upward blow and sent him to the canvas with no reaction and sealed a beautiful victory.

The Cuban was superior at all times and took advantage of his greater height to keep a brave opponent at bay but who did not have too many opportunities in the ring.

Vicente’s record stands at 19 wins, 1 loss and 16 knockouts. Gonzalez left his record at 11 wins, 2 losses and 11 KO’s.
