World Boxing Association logoOn August 1, 2014 will take place in Cordoba, Argentina, two WBA FEDEBOL title fights, on in the super middleweight 168 pounds divisions and the other in the super featherweight 130 pounds.

Both fights will be scored with the half point system carried out by the World Boxing Association for regional title fights.

The WBA FEDEBOL super middleweight 168 pounds, Julius Jackson, from Virgin Islands, will defend his championship against the Argentinean Ruben Acosta.

Jackson’s record is 17 fight, 13 KO´s, and the southern challenger’s 28-9-5, 10 KO´s.

The second fight will be for the 130 lbs vacant title between Israel Pérez (26-2-1) and Carlos Rodríguez (29-9-0) both from Argentina.
