Cameroonian Hassan N’Dam and Japanese Ryota Murata will fight this Saturday, May 20th, in Tokyo, Japan, for the World Boxing Association Regular Middleweight title.

N’Dam is the 160-pound interim champion. The Cameroonian won his title after beating the Venezuelan Alfonso Blanco by knockout in the first round last December.

Murata, London 2012 Olympic champion, will fight for the first time for a world title. So far, he knows neither defeat nor draw and carries a four-knockout streak.

That same day, in Maryland, United States, Cuban Rances Barthelemy and Belarusian Kiryl Relikh will have an eliminatory fight in the Super Lightweight division.

Barthelemy has been champion at 130 and 135 pounds. At the moment, he occupies the second place in the WBA ranking, thanks to his good job in the ring. Proof of this is his undefeated record.

Relikh, number one in the 140-pound ranking, also presents a respectable resume. His only defeat was against former WBA Super Lightweight champion, Ricky Burns, who beat him by unanimous decision last October.

The winner of the Barthelemy-Relikh bout will have the right to fight against the Namibian Julius Indongo, current monarch of the category.
