The top WBA women’s 175 lbs. division will have an explosive rematch fight in Whangarei, New Zealand, scheduled for November 19. The protagonists; Lani Daniels and Sequita Hemingway.

Boxer Lani Daniels is one of her country’s top 175 lbs. boxers and is ranked second in the WBA women’s world rankings. Backed by an enriched amateur career, Daniels is looking for a second world title shot after having tried against another compatriot, Geovana Peres, on March 30, 2019. Daniels holds the New Zealand Professional Boxing Association championship belt.

Hemingway, on the other hand, will be looking for revenge against Daniels after her last defeat in April. The 40-year-old fighter is ranked third in the rankings, just below her opponent. Therefore, the winner of the rematch could have the opportunity to be among the best in a rare women’s division. A category led by WBA champion Hanna Gabriels who ambitions to be the undisputed owner of all the belts at 175.

Daniels has 6 wins, 2 losses and 2 draws. While Hemingway has 1 win and 1 loss.
