Bryan “Tiquito” Vásquez, the interim super featherweight champion of the World Boxing Association retained his black and gold championship belt after defeating José Félix Jr. by unanimous decision.

Vasquez dominated the actions since the very beginning of the fight. While attacking he coiled his opponent several times throughout the fight who in several passages was confused and even frustrated, to the point that, in the ninth round, hit with his knee and was punished with a point deduction.

The judges saw Vasquez win 117-110, 114-113, 114-113. Now Vasquez record is 34-1, 17 KO´s while Felix Jr 26-1-1, 21 KO´s.
