The two letters differ when it comes to naming the mandatory challengers for both champions.

The World Boxing Association (WBA) Classifications Committee published its ranking for the month of September, which covers the period from September 1to the 25.

The boxer of the month was Venezuelan Jorge “Golden Boy” Linares, who defeated the Englishman Luke Campbell by split decision in a big battle to retain his WBA Lightweight Title.

The Honorable Mention was for Yunier Dórticos, who knocked Dmitry Kudryashov on September 23 to retain his WBA Cruiserweight Title.

The 15 boxers on the 17 divisions are accredited to fight for a world title.
