Katie Taylor was named Ambassador of Boxing in the World by the president of the World Boxing Association (WBA) Gilberto Jesus Mendoza. In a letter sent by the top leader of the organization, he gave recognition to the Irish fighter, who last week defended his lightweight crown for the seventh time.
