The World Boxing Association (WBA) lightweight title bout between champion Katie Taylor and Karen Carabajal has been confirmed for October 29 at Wembley Arena.

Taylor also holds the WBO, WBC and IBF belts, which will all be at stake during the showdown. Taylor has just had one of the best fights of the year, defeating Amanda Serrano after 10 rounds of drama and action.

Now the opportunity will be for Carabajal, an undefeated Argentinean who comes with a good record and with all the motivation to surprise on British soil. The 32-year-old fighter has knocked out two of her three most recent opponents.

Taylor is undefeated in 21 fights, with 6 knockouts. Carabajal is unbeaten in 19 fights and has knocked out 2 opponents.
