Don King Promotions, on behalf of Kazakh boxer Beibut Shumenov, won on Tuesday February 13th the bid for Univent Production. This production is responsible for the career of Arsen Goulamirian, and to carry out the fight for the Cruiserweight Title of the World Boxing Association (WBA) that the Committee of Championships of the organization ordered.

The minimum of the bid was $200,000 and Shumenov’s team bid $821,000. Univent Production offered $621,500, losing by $199,500.

The team of Don King Promotions presented three possible dates and sites for the contest: April 15th in Monaco (MC), April 30th in Astana (KZ) and May 13th in New York (USA).

The bidding took place in Panama City and was directed by the Panamanian Aurelio Fiengo who is a board member of the WBA. They have 15 calendar days from the date of February 13th to submit the signed contract.
