The distinction comes following Serrano’s spectacular showing on the card held in El Paso, Texas, at the end of May. In that bout, the reigning WBA Featherweight World Champion put her title on the line against German challenger Cheyenne Hanson and erased any lingering doubts about her place atop the 126-pound division with a commanding victory.

The Puerto Rican superstar overwhelmed her opponent from the outset and closed the show with a second-round technical knockout.
