Russian Sergey Kovalev 175 lbs light heavy Super champion has been chosen as the fighter of the month of the World Boxing Association.

Kovalev defeated Jean Pascal by TKO 8 in the first defense of his WBA belt on March 14, 2015 in Quebec, Canada. The Russian also held the IBF and WBO belts.

The Honorable mention was given to the German Juerguen Braehmer who defeated Robin Kranisqi on March 21 in Germany, in the fourth defense of the regular Light Heavyweight title defense.
