September brings Canelo-GGG 3

The rivalry between Saul Alvarez and Gennady Golovkin is one of the most notorious in recent years and September will bring the third part of this rivalry with the World Boxing Association (WBA) Super championship at stake, in addition to the WBC, IBF and WBO belts.

The bout will take place five years and one day after the first confrontation on September 16, 2017. On that occasion they ended in a draw after 12 rounds of good action and exchange that left audiences eager for more.

A year later, on September 15, 2018, they returned to the ring for a rematch with a similar development but in which “Canelo” came out on top and won by majority decision.

Now, five years later, the third fight will take place, in which the Mexican seems to be the favorite due to his youth and the fact that he is the undisputed 168-pound champion, but the Kazakh comes from a good streak, a spectacular knockout against Ryota Murata and with the desire to get even, so it will be a complicated fight.

With a little more than two weeks to go, this great fight is expected and both are in the final part of their preparations. September is always a month of great fights and this time will be no exception.
