Since Seniesa Estrada entered a new phase in her career and joined her new promoter, she has stated that her goal is to become undisputed minimumweight champion. The World Boxing Association (WBA) champion will take that first step this Saturday when she faces Tina Rupprecht, who holds the WBC belt.

A big fight is the only thing that was on Estrada’s mind and now she has it. She will face the Frenchwoman with the goal of unifying and owning two crowns, which would be the first step in attracting the other champions and finally being able to collect the four major belts.

Estrada is a fighter who has everything to be a star as she combines charisma and sympathy with an excellent, flashy and aggressive boxing, elements that have led her to success and make boxing fans want to watch every one of her fights.

Her combinations of fast punches, her intention to always look for fights and exchanges make her fights some of the most entertaining in women’s boxing, a situation that should be repeated this Saturday against another champion like the German.

The desire and motivation of being in Fresno, California, will also play an important role. The bout puts face to face possibly the best in the category and that already anticipates a great fight.

Women’s boxing continues to offer the possibility of champion vs. champion and that is the reason why its boom has grown so much in recent years. The weekend will bring another great fight.
