This Tuesday, 122-pound World Boxing Association, the British Scott Quigg publicly announced his next fight in England.

Quigg (30-0, 22 KO) and his team chose the Spanish Kiko Martínez (32-5, 24 KO) as his opponent for the next 18 July 2015, in Manchester City as a venue.

The world champion said to be conscious of his opponent abilities, and unhesitatingly said that it will be the toughest fight of his career. “But one thing I know, I’m going to beat him on July 18.”

In Quigg’s opinion the Spanish is a puncher, but despite of that he is confident that he will defeat him. “This is a dangerous fight, and those are the ones I want to. It is the type of fight that makes you get up of the bed, for the fear of losing my world title, and work harder.”

On the other hand, Martinez said that Quigg is a very strong boxer but “on July 18 will be the best and strongest boxer.
