The minimum champion of the World Boxing Association, Japanese Ryo Miyasaki announced his decision to vacate the title and change the upper division.

Miyazaki formalized his resignation last week, when he informed the directives of the WBA Championships Committee.

He also requested to be rated in the light fly division in the next ranking.
