Peruvian fighter Alberto Rossel was promoted to mini flyweight 108 pounds regular champion by the Championships Committee of the World Boxing Association.

Rossel was the interim champion since April 14, 2012 and successfully defended it four times against Jose Alfredo Rodriguez, Karluis Diaz, Walter Tello, José Alfredo Zúñiga and Gabriel Mendoza.

His last defense was in March 2014.

The new WBA mini flyweight 108 pounds regular champion’s record is 32-8, 13 KO´s.
