World Boxing Association (WBA) World Featherweight Champion Jesus Rojas (26-1-2, 19KO’s) made weight, scaling in at 125.8lbs, while his challenger Joseph “JoJo” Diaz (26-1, 14KO’s) came in heavy at 126.6lbs.

This means that Rojas will his retain his title win or lose, while the title will not be on the line for Diaz to win.

The fight is promoted by Golden Boy Promotions (GBP) and will be taking place at The Avalon of Hollywood.  It will be broadcast exclusively and worldwide through the Facebook digital platform, which is one of the first major fights to be done this way.

The fight figures to be a good one, despite the missed weight by Diaz, as Rojas and Diaz are both very fan-friendly fighters with crowd pleasing styles that figure to mix it up to make for a good fight on the Facebook platform.
