The Riyadh Season will land in Los Angeles in one month’s time for one of its most anticipated events, which will feature Israil Madrimov vs. Terence Crawford for the World Boxing Association (WBA) super welterweight title on August 3.

The BMO Stadium, home of Los Angeles F.C., will host this great event organized by the Riyadh Season and which has been an initiative of the President of the General Entertainment Authority and Royal Advisor to the Court of Saudi Arabia, Turki Alalshikh.

Madrimov will be defending his title for the first time. He won the title on March 8 with a five round knockout over Magomed Kurbanov at the Kingdom Arena in Riyadh.

Crawford, the undisputed welterweight champion, will move up in weight to challenge the Uzbek and wants to win the black and gold belt in his first title shot at this weight class. He is one of the best pound-for-pound fighters today and wants to prove it in a great challenge for him and his career.

Madrimov has 10 wins, no losses, 1 draw and 7 knockouts. For his part, Crawford has 40 wins, is undefeated and has knocked out 31 opponents.
