Ricardo Maldonado, director of Producciones Deportivas, said during the press conference prior to the World Boxing Association (WBA) Light Flyweight title bout on Friday, May 28th in Mexico City, that it will be a great show.

“The two main fights are very good, I think the public and the fans will like them, and for all the people who watch it on TV it will be a great show,” said the promoter.

Maldonado also expressed his satisfaction to work hand in hand with the pioneer organization: “The truth is that it has been very easy, Gilberto Jesús Mendoza is a boxing person and I am grateful that he has chosen us to make a world title fight here, and we have to reciprocate with a good event”.

The director of Producciones Deportivas had to overcome the difficulties of the pandemic, because the event will be held in a theater equipped for boxing and only those invited will be able to attend.

The official weigh-in ceremony will take place on Thursday at noon, and on Friday at 9:00 p.m. the great boxing event of Producciones Deportivas will begin.
