The World Boxing Association 112 lbs champion Argentine Juan Carlos Reveco and his challenger Japanese Kazuto Ioka N° 3 rated contender passed the medical check-up without any problem in Osaka, Japan.

The battle will take place on Wednesday April 22, at the Prefectural Gymnasium of Osaka.

Reveco (35-1, 19 KO) is facing the ninth defense of the title he won in 2011 over Venezuelan Jean Piero Pérez. His last fight was in December 2014, year when he defended his title three times.

Ioka (16-1, 10KO) on the other hand, is fighting for the third time in the division, although he has experience fighting for the world this since he has reigned in the lower divisions.

The officials appointed by the WBA are: referee: Pinit Prayadsab (THA), judges: Raúl Caiz Sr (US), Silvestre Abainza (PHIL), Carlos Sucre (US) with Yang Sup Shim (KOR) as supervisor.
