Puerto Rican referee, Roberto Ramirez Sr was awarded recognition for his 200 professional fights.

He reached the historical number on Saturday March 15, 2014 in the Danny García and Mauricio Herrera fight at the Coliseum in Bayamon, Puerto Rico.

Ramirez was received the award before the main card and received a world championship belt replica from the hands of Alberto Sarmiento, member of the WBA and who was the supervisor of the fight.

He began refereeing in 1976, and made his debut in the World Boxing Association in 1978 in the Samuel Serrano vs Mario Martinez featherweight title fight.

Once again the WBA family greets Ramirez Sr, and congratulates him for this professional performance and loyalty.
