Undefeated prospect Eric Priest and veteran Tyler Howard will battle for the World Boxing Association (WBA) Continental North America middleweight belt on Thursday, January 23 at the Commerce Casino in Commerce, California. 

Priest is a 26-year-old native of Wichita Falls, Texas. He has been a professional since 2020 and has been earning every opportunity thanks to his good boxing and skills. 

In August, Priest earned a unanimous decision over Luka Lozo in Las Vegas in what was quite a media-worthy evening and earned him this title shot. 

He will now face Howard, a 31-year-old Tennessee native. His professional career began in 2012 and has been active for more than a decade with ups and downs. He is not going through his best professional moment due to the fact that he has lost two of his last three fights, but he has gone all the way and has offered a lot of competitiveness, making him a very dangerous opponent. 

Priest has a record of 14 wins, no losses and 8 knockouts. In Howard’s case, he has 20 wins, 2 losses and 11 knockouts.
